Welcome to the WVT website.

14th May 2007

This website is in the process of being updated, following major changes since August 2006 which have led to the Wensum Valley Trust replacing the Wensum Valley Project.  (See About Us / 'Why the WVT was set up' and 'How the WVT works').

Therefore some sections of the website may be out of date and still refer to the Wensum Valley Project.  Corrections will soon be in place.

On the website you will be able to find information on what the Trust does and how it works, the history and wildlife of the Wensum Valley, why the valley is so important, how you can enjoy it, what you can do to help out and what we can do for you!

Please use the main menu bar at the top of the page to access different categories of information. For some menu categories, a sub-menu will appear on the right hand side of the page to help you find what you're looking for.

Keep an eye on this page for links to new articles and events!

The WVT was established at a public meeting in Taverham at the end of March.  Robin Goolden, the Wensum Valley Project Officer, gave a talk on the Wensum Valley and the work of the WVP.

About 50 people attended and the outcome of the evening was a new organisation.

(See 'About Us / Why the WVT was set up').
