This site includes an outline of the history of North Elmham.

 

Mid Norfolk Railway Preservation Trust

Volunteers dedicated to restoring to use the railway line between Wymondham and County School Station (North Elmham). During the summer they run regular trains between Wymondham and Dereham Station where there is small railway museum.

 

Norfolk Mills

This site includes very detailed information on the watermills of Norfolk, including those in the Wensum Valley (Bintry, Costessey, Elsing, Fakenham, Great Ryburgh, Great Witchingham, Gressenhall, Guist, Hellesdon, Hempton, Lenwade, Lyng, New Mills in Norwich, Sculthorpe, Swanton Morley, Taverham and Worthing).

 

Norwich Rivers Heritage Group

Local group mainly concerned with development at the ‘Trowse Triangle’ but website also includes information on history, geology and industry around the rivers in and near Norwich.

Country Land and Business Association
