Marriott's Way Leaflet [image]Marriott’s Way – Peaceful and secluded trail partly along the Wensum Valley, on the former railway line between Norwich, Reepham and Aylsham. Passes through typical lowland arable fields, woods and wet meadows. A 21-mile trail (but can be done in sections) for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Published by Norfolk County Council.

 

 

 

 

Gunton Lane Recreaton Area Leaflet [image]Gunton Lane Recreation Area, Costessey – Habitats include grassland, woodland, ponds, marsh and river on the site of old gravel workings. A hard surfaced path alongside the River Tud gives easy access for walkers and wheelchair users, either from the Marriott’s Way or the Red Bridge Lane car park. Picnic furniture and a shallow ford for paddling make this a popular spot for families.

 

 

 

Hoe Walk Leaflet [image]Hoe Walk, near Dereham – A circular walk of 6km (4 miles) on footpaths, country lanes and farm tracks. Passes through heath, wood, and arable land. Leaflet includes historical and landscape notes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ghosts on the line Leaflet [image]Ghosts on the Line, North Elmham – A short walk through time from County School Station to the Saxon Cathedral at North Elmham (1.6km / 1 mile long). Runs along the disused railway track and through grazing meadows. Four characters from the past speak about their time in this area.
